Federal Customers
Since incorporating in 1984, Madison has worked with various agencies of the Department of Defense. Madison has performed over forty service contracts and three job order (construction) contracts. Contract sizes have ranged from providing Base Operating Support Services at Yuma Proving Grounds where Madison personnel maintained the entire installation to commissary shelf stocking.
Department of Homeland Security – Federal Emergency Management Agency – In 2006, following Hurricane Katrina, Madison competed for and won a contract for Maintenance and Deactivation of Temporary Housing. The contract required Madison to monitor and maintain over 6,000 travel trailers, park models, and mobile homes located within a 13,000 square mile area of South Mississippi.
During the course of its contract with FEMA, Madison gained unique insight and experience in the field of emergency response and disaster assistance. As a result, Madison continues to pursue maintenance and logistics contracting opportunities with State and Federal Agencies responsible for disaster relief.
Small Business Achievement Award
Madison is a recipient of a 2012 Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Small Business Achievement Award.
The award recognizes Madison’s outstanding work in support of the DHS mission—in particular, the work performed for the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA), Office of the Chief Procurement Officer in FY11.
The annual DHS Small Business Achievement Award recognizes exceptional contributions to the homeland security mission by a select group of small business firms from across the country. The award is sponsored by the DHS Office of Small and Disadvantaged Business Utilization (OSDBU) and includes nominations and substantial participation by the broader DHS procurement community and program offices in DHS components.
